Translating is a highly complex process that does not only require excellent language skills but an ability to apply appropriate translation strategies depending on cultural differences, the intended audience, the purpose of a text as well as text type.

I use the CAT (Computer Assisted Translation) tools Trados Studio and Wordfast Pro. This software enables me to also complete comprehensive projects with standardised terminology in a very timely manner.

I also provide a proofreading service for your original and translated texts, which includes a grammar and spell check as well as improvement of style and comprehensiveness for the intended target audience.
